Welsh Cakes: A Traditional Treat

Welsh cakes are a traditional treat from Wales, dating back to the 19th century when coal miners needed a filling snack.

So from very humble beginnings and using a recipe we enjoyed as chidren and still enjoy today.  Our Nanna's Welshcakes are cooked traditionally on a griddle plate.
